Material Pledge
Activewear works hard. The fabric should too.
Our standard
We choose every material for three things: how it performs, how long it lasts, and what it costs the planet to make. If a fabric can’t deliver on all three, it doesn’t make the collection.
What we make with
Recycled performance fibers.
Our leggings, bras, and shorts use [X]% recycled nylon and polyester, made from post-consumer waste like discarded fishing nets and plastic bottles. Same stretch, same hold, less virgin material.
Responsibly sourced cotton.
Our sweatshirts and tops use [organic / BCI-certified] cotton, grown with less water and fewer pesticides.
Soft-stretch elastane.
We use only as much as each piece needs for four-way stretch and shape recovery. Less elastane means a more breathable feel and a fabric that’s easier to recycle.
Our commitments
Built to last. Every piece is tested for pilling, stretch recovery, and color fastness. The most sustainable garment is the one you wear for years.
Fewer, better fabrics. We keep our fabric list short so we can hold suppliers to a higher standard.
Know your mill. We work with [certified / audited] suppliers and publish where our fabrics come from.
No hidden fibers. Every product page lists exact composition, down to the percentage.
Plastic-light packaging. Orders ship in [recycled / recyclable] materials only.
What we don’t use
Virgin polyester or nylon where a recycled alternative performs equally well
PFAS “forever chemical” finishes
Real fur, leather, or exotic skins
Where we’re still working
We’re not perfect, and we won’t pretend to be. Synthetic fabrics still shed microfibers in the wash, and recycled fiber isn’t yet available for every style. Here’s what we’re tackling next:
Raising recycled content to [X]% across the collection by [year]
Testing take-back and repair options for worn pieces
Publishing our progress here every year
Make it last
How you care for your gear matters as much as how it’s made. Washing cold, skipping fabric softener, and air drying can double a garment’s life. See our Product care guide.
